Boston arts offer something to fit every
taste and budget.
In less than one block, you have your choice of a play at
the Wang or the Colonial Theater, or perhaps hip hop dancing
at the Emerson Majestic Theater. You may want to solve a
mystery at a dinner theater, or laugh with the in-laws at
"Joey and Maria’s Comedy Italian Wedding". From
cool jazz, to ballet, to headlining comedy acts and
improvisational theater, you’ll find it all in Boston.
You’ll get internationally known and respected classical
music at Symphony Hall, courtesy of the Boston Pops and the
Boston Symphony Orchestra. The heavenly sounds of violins,
harps and piano will lift your soul and enrich your spirit.
You can also hear jazz, gospel or classical music in nearby
Jordan Hall, a place that was built to appreciate all music.
Cross the river to into one of the cozy Cambridge clubs and
enjoy the sweet sounds of a saxophone, or a song about a love
gone wrong. You can also get plain old rock and roll at the
Fleet Center or the Orpheum.
Film buffs will love to see their favorites on a 64-ft.
screen at the Wang Center for the Performing Arts, or an
independent movie at the Brattle Theater. You can also catch
some offbeat films at the historic Boston Public Library and
the Museum of Fine Arts.
