The MFA is over 125 years old and has an international collection of masterpieces, including one of the largest collections of Asian art in the world. The I. S. Gardner Museum, which was built in the style of  a 15-th century Venetian palace is located only a few blocks away from the MFA, making it easy to see some of the finest art in Boston in one afternoon.

Science enthusiasts will love visiting the Museum of Science, it's one of the most innovative and interesting museums on the East coast. There are over 600 interactive exhibits as well as the Hayden Planetarium and the Mugar Omni Theater.

Historic Points of Boston

Boston truly has something to offer everyone. It's a city steeped in history, yet is as cosmopolitan as New York.  One of the best ways to see the city is by walking the Freedom Trail, it links some of the most historically significant sites in Boston and takes you through some of the more interesting parts of the city like downtown and the North End.  Others may choose to spend the afternoon in one of Boston's 30 terrific museums like the Museum of Fine Arts or the Museum of Science.
