Reptiles: Real and
Robotic

This new traveling exhibit showcases the creatures that
once ruled the Earth, focusing on the truth of these often
misunderstood, and feared, living creatures. Of the 15 orders of
reptiles that have inhabited the Earth, visitors will learn about the
five that survive today. Exhibit-goers will explore the diverse size,
shape, color and lifestyle of reptiles. They’ll find out what reptiles
and humans have in common and view larger-than-life robotic reptiles on
display; including a 23 foot-long Nile Crocodile and a 36 foot-long
Western Diamond Rattlesnake. The exhibit celebrates the fact that
reptiles are ancient survivors of a long-gone world and explains why and
how they have managed to endure for 300 million years. Now
Open through May 29.
